LONG-TERM PAINT PROTECTION

Professional Ceramic Coating
Across Penarth & Cardiff

Durable, hydrophobic protection designed to enhance gloss, resist environmental exposure, and make maintenance easier — applied using a structured preparation process.

Ceramic Coatings

Ceramic coating is a long-term protective layer applied to your vehicle’s paintwork to improve gloss, enhance water repellency, and make maintenance significantly easier.

Unlike waxes and sealants that wear away quickly, a ceramic coating chemically bonds to the surface to create a durable, hydrophobic barrier. The result is a finish that stays cleaner for longer and is easier to wash safely.

What Is a Ceramic Coating?

A ceramic coating is a liquid-applied protective product that cures into a hard, transparent layer on top of your clear coat. It is designed to reduce how strongly dirt, road film, and water adhere to the surface.

Ceramic coating is not paint protection film (PPF), and it will not prevent stone chips. Its primary value is protection from environmental exposure, improved appearance, and easier maintenance.

Important: The coating is only as good as the preparation. Proper cleansing and (where needed) paint correction is what creates the clarity and finish that the coating will lock in.

What Ceramic Coating Will Do

Long-Term Protection

Helps shield paintwork from UV exposure, weathering, and environmental fallout.

Easier Cleaning

Hydrophobic behaviour reduces how strongly grime bonds, making washes quicker and safer.

Improved Gloss & Depth

Enhances reflections and keeps the finish looking sharper for longer.

Reduced Water Spotting

Water sheds faster and dries more cleanly when maintained correctly.

Protects Your Investment

Helps maintain condition and presentation over time — ideal for higher-value vehicles.

Locks In the Finish

Once the surface is refined, the coating helps preserve that finish.

Ceramic Coating Package

One complete ceramic coating package delivered through a structured three-stage process: deep surface reset, paint correction, then coating application. Each stage is essential to achieve the finish and durability you expect.

Stage 1: Decontamination Wash

The foundation of ceramic coating. The paint must be fully cleansed and decontaminated so the correction and coating stages can be carried out safely and consistently.

Includes

  • Safe pre-wash and controlled hand wash
  • Strip wash to remove old protection and road film
  • Iron fallout removal and tar removal where required
  • Deep wheel cleanse and arches rinsed and cleared

Outcome: A fully decontaminated surface ready for polishing and coating.

Stage 3: Ceramic Coating Application

Ceramic coating applied panel-by-panel to bond to the paintwork and provide durable, hydrophobic protection. This locks in the corrected finish and makes maintenance significantly easier.

Includes

  • Ceramic coating applied to paintwork
  • Careful levelling for a uniform finish
  • Hydrophobic behaviour for easier washing
  • Aftercare and curing guidance provided

Outcome: Long-term protection with enhanced gloss and easier ongoing maintenance.

Note: Durability depends on preparation quality and maintenance habits. This package includes full decontamination and paint correction because they are the key steps that allow the coating to bond properly and lock in a high-quality finish.

Complete Ceramic Coating Package

Includes full decontamination, single-stage paint correction, and professional ceramic coating application — delivered as one structured process.

Our Ceramic Coating Process

Ceramic coating performance relies on preparation. We follow a structured approach to ensure the coating bonds correctly and the finish looks its best.

1. Safe Wash & Surface Reset

Pre-wash and controlled hand wash to remove road film and visible contamination.

2. Decontamination

Removal of bonded contamination (such as iron fallout and tar) to ensure a clean bonding surface.

3. Paint Preparation

Surface preparation to ensure the paint is properly cleansed and ready for coating application.

4. Coating Application

Ceramic coating applied panel-by-panel with careful levelling for a consistent finish.

5. Finishing & Aftercare Guidance

Final checks, finishing touches, and clear guidance on curing and maintenance.

Ceramic Coating Aftercare

Ceramic coatings are low-maintenance, not no-maintenance. To keep the finish performing well, regular safe washes and correct drying are key.

  • Avoid washing for the first 7 days (or as advised) after application
  • Use pH-neutral shampoo and safe wash methods
  • Avoid harsh traffic-film removers unless necessary
  • Dry the vehicle properly to reduce water spotting
  • Top up with a compatible maintenance product if recommended
Tip: If you want the easiest ownership experience, combine ceramic coating with a maintenance plan or periodic top-up services.

Ceramic Coating Maintenance Plan

Ceramic coatings perform best when maintained correctly. Our maintenance plan is designed to preserve hydrophobic performance, reduce premature degradation, and keep the finish looking its best.

  • Safe pH-neutral maintenance wash
  • Gentle decontamination where required
  • Inspection of coating performance
  • Application of compatible top-up protection

Ceramic Coating FAQs

Will ceramic coating prevent scratches or stone chips?

No. Ceramic coatings are protective, but they are not PPF. They help with chemical resistance and easier cleaning, not impact resistance.

Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?

Not always, but coatings lock in the surface finish. If your paint has swirls or haze, correction is recommended first to maximise results.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Durability depends on the coating option, preparation quality, and maintenance habits. Correct washing and drying significantly improve lifespan.

Can I wash the car normally after coating?

Yes — but safe wash methods matter. Harsh chemicals and poor washing can reduce performance and induce swirls over time.

Is ceramic coating worth it for a daily driver?

Often yes. The biggest benefit for daily drivers is easier maintenance and a consistently cleaner appearance.
